Physiotherapist – Sports and Competition Support

We are seeking qualified and experienced Physiotherapists to provide physiotherapy support during training sessions, sporting events and competition seasons.

At least two Physiotherapists will be appointed, as up to two personnel may be deployed concurrently during peak competition periods.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess athletes’ injuries, physical conditions and rehabilitation needs.
• Provide physiotherapy treatment and injury-management support.
• Deliver immediate care during training sessions, sporting events and competitions.
• Develop appropriate rehabilitation, recovery and injury-prevention programmes.
• Monitor athletes’ recovery progress and readiness to resume sporting activities.
• Provide advice on stretching, mobility, conditioning and injury prevention.
• Maintain accurate treatment, injury and rehabilitation records.
• Communicate professionally with athletes, coaches, officials and relevant stakeholders.
• Respond appropriately to medical emergencies within the scope of professional training.
• Perform other physiotherapy-related duties required during service deployment.

Requirements

• Degree in Physiotherapy or another relevant recognised qualification.
• Relevant experience providing physiotherapy or sports-injury support.
• Experience supporting athletes during competitions or sporting events is preferred.
• Must possess valid Standard First Aid and AED certifications.
• Certificates must remain valid throughout the service period.
• Able to provide certification details, year of attainment and certificate expiry dates.
• Must provide an employment track record stating the role, period and place of service.
• Strong communication, assessment and injury-management skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexible and available for deployment during competition seasons.
