ICT Support Assistant

Extension Option: Up to one additional year
Working Hours
Monday to Friday: 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, including a 30-minute lunch break
No work on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
Job Responsibilities
ICT Device Management
Manage the daily scheduling of ICT resources through the school’s Resource Booking System.
Issue and receive school ICT devices, including iPads, for teachers and classes.
Verify borrowers’ identities and record device-loan transactions through FormSG.
Ensure all loaned devices are properly accounted for.
Coordinate with the Mobile Device Management vendor on basic software updates.
Check that required learning applications are installed.
Conduct routine checks on battery condition, screen integrity and connectivity.
Website Management
Upload announcements, circulars, newsletters and photo galleries to the school website.
Use the Isomer Next platform to publish school content.
Ensure all materials are accurately formatted and published on schedule.
Manage uploaded content prepared by the school’s Publications staff.
Photography and Videography
Provide photography and videography coverage for assigned school events.
Capture quality photographs and videos according to the school’s guidelines.
Perform basic editing, including cropping and video trimming.
Organise and archive photographs and videos for school use.
Follow the school’s data-management requirements for student and staff images.
e-Broadcast Management
Upload and schedule e-Broadcast materials for internal and external communications.
Ensure broadcasts are accurately uploaded and sent on time.
Verify successful broadcast delivery.
Report technical problems promptly to the ICT Manager.
ICT Inventory Management
Maintain accurate records of ICT assets, including iPads and AV accessories.
Record serial numbers, asset tags, condition and custodian details.
Conduct periodic physical stock checks.
Reconcile physical assets against inventory records.
Report missing, damaged or unaccounted-for equipment.
Audio-Visual Support
Provide AV setup and operational support for school presentations and events.
Set up and operate sound systems, wireless microphones, projectors and display screens.
Test AV equipment before each event.
Ensure equipment is returned, stored and accounted for after use.
Requirements
Diploma from a local polytechnic, ITE qualification or Higher Nitec.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Proficient in Google Workspace and Gmail.
Able to take photographs and videos using a DSLR camera.
Basic knowledge of audio-mixing consoles and wireless microphone systems.
Basic knowledge of HDMI projection systems.
Strong attention to detail, particularly for website-publishing duties.
Good organisational and inventory-management skills.
Able to remain calm while supporting live school events.
Preferably at least one year of experience in a school or ICT-related environment.
On-the-job training will be provided for the school’s systems and processes.
