412 EWG Support (LVL 3 Program Management Support) Data Handler, JSE
JOB SUMMARY
This is a 412 EWG Program Management/Data Handler position capable of performing duties independently to assist in the management of numerous Research Development Test & Evaluation projects for the Electronic Warfare Group (EWG). These projects are in a variety of Project Management phases ranging from planning and provisioning to analysis, and reporting.
Provides knowledge and experience in acquisition Project Management and general organizational workflow (philosophy, policies, and procedures) to procurement activities, project/program management tasks, acquisition programs and organizational activities. Support will not include counseling, mentoring, judgmental/discretionary decisions, or other activities related to supervision of Government personnel.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Data Handler
- Manage all software transfer requests into and out of the 445 Test Squadron classified areas.
- Accept the request from Operators, Developers, Technicians, Admins and other appropriate requestors.
- Manage accountability for Transfer-Media, to include Data Locker, CD/DVD,SSD etc.
- Work with Requestors, Sys Admins, cyber security and media custodians to complete Assured File Transfer Checklist.
- Understand AFT process for all types of files used at digital test training range Nellis, to include Text files, digital, executables, MS Office, PDF etc.
- Manage Data Transfer/Data Delivery for customer deliverables of test and training events.
- Work with 445 Test Squadron engineering at Digital Test Training Range Nellis and Edwards to construct draft data-downgrade procedures.
- Track effort to obtain physical security officer approval through the govt security officer and through cyber security for high to low data down grade processes.
- Coordinate with engineering and ops to ensure secure and timely delivery of all test data that will satisfy customer requirements.
- Become downgrade expert for all types of test data, digital/binary data, text data, parametric and numerical data.
- Work with security to set up and manage wrap and pack room.
- Assist project officers in wrapping and packing media for couriering and or mailing.
- Obtain necessary training for supporting/managing classified mail distribution.
- Assist in the review of documents / work packages to ensure timely commitment / obligation of resources.
