6 Months Finance Operations Analyst (Up to $4,200) #NJN

Up to $4,200 + 0.5 month bonus

The role holder will support the overall Finance Operations function and month-end closing activities for all lines of businesses in Singapore:

· Responsible for processing payments to 3rd parties and ensuring that all transactions are processed timely, accurately and accounted for appropriately.

· Preparation of monthly audit schedules.

· Preparation of journal entries for month-end closing.

· Ensure all system transactions are properly accounted for in a timely manner.

· Participate in various initiatives such as system enhancements and projects.

· Management of monthly staff claims processing

· Liaise with internal or external stakeholders on accounting matters and audit

Responsibilities

· Constant improvement of finance processes to ensure relevance and efficiency

· Keeping abreast of developments in regulatory and industry best practices

· Effective and efficient processing to ensure timelines and accuracy of financial data

· Comprehensive and accurate process documentation on issue and resolution

· Compliance with Group financial control framework, accounting standards and regulations in Singapore

· Ensure sound financial controls in all aspects of finance related functions

· Assess on the appropriate accounting treatment for payments and partner with Business Units to ensure that payments are executed promptly

Requirements

• Minimum 1-3 years of finance operations experience
• Experience of identifying and co-implementing of rigorous operational controls to enhance effectiveness and efficiency of finance operations functions
• Good working knowledge of Oracle is an advantage
• Diploma in Accounting or equivalent
