This role combines global process ownership, people leadership, and digital transformation within the Closing & Reporting area of Record-to-Report (A2R). Leading a team of specialists, you will drive standardisation, automation, compliance, and continuous improvement while ensuring timely, accurate, and reliable financial reporting across the organisation.

• Develop and inspire a team of Closing & Reporting experts.
• Drive simplification, automation, and digital transformation across finance processes.

• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

​Main responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a team of Closing & Reporting analysts and solutions experts, building capability and driving high performance.
• Own the end-to-end Closing & Reporting process, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial and statutory reporting.
• Drive process standardisation, harmonisation, and continuous improvement across countries and functions.
• Lead the evolution of the Closing & Reporting solutions landscape, including SAP, BlackLine, and automation initiatives.
• Partner with Digital and ITS teams to deliver effective support models, system enhancements, and future-ready solutions.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, audit standards, and governance frameworks.
• Define and monitor KPIs, performance metrics, and service delivery standards to ensure operational excellence.

About you:

• Experience leading Closing & Reporting, Record-to-Report, or broader finance transformation initiatives within a global environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting processes, period-end close, statutory reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience managing teams and influencing stakeholders across multiple functions and organisational levels.
• Good understanding of finance technologies, including SAP, BlackLine, or similar financial systems.
• Strong process improvement mindset, with experience driving standardisation, automation, or transformation initiatives.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Professional accounting qualifications are an advantage.
• Fluent English is required; additional European languages are beneficial.
