Account Executive
Own the end-to-end enterprise sales process from prospecting and introductory calls through contract negotiation, closing, retention, renewals, and upsells. Educate cryptocurrency companies about blockchain nodes and infrastructure troubleshooting, maintain a healthy sales pipeline, manage CRM metrics and forecasts, collaborate across teams, and provide customer feedback to product and engineering.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end sales process, including contract negotiation, closing, retention, renewals, upsells, and client satisfaction.
- Engage prospective customers, understand their needs, and explain how the product addresses them.
- Reach out to new leads through multiple communication channels and secure introductory calls.
- Educate cryptocurrency companies on blockchain nodes and infrastructure troubleshooting.
- Track and analyze campaigns and the sales process to identify improvements.
- Collaborate with internal business and technology teams to drive customer outcomes.
- Refine and establish processes that support evolving business needs.
- Develop strategic relationships with senior executives and technical stakeholders.
- Create and articulate compelling value propositions.
- Manage and report sales activity in the CRM, keeping metrics current.
- Provide customer feedback to product and engineering teams.
- Work with support and communicate with customers before and after sales.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Respond to customers quickly and ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Ability to work from the San Francisco or New York City office three times per week.
- 4+ years of quota-carrying, client-facing Account Executive experience selling SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS to enterprise and C-level stakeholders.
- Knowledge of and passion for the crypto and blockchain industry.
- Experience identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology projects with complex enterprise accounts.
- Experience driving technology adoption and developing long-term transformational account strategies.
- Ability to independently source and progress new business.
- Proficiency with CRM software, forecasting, and opportunity management.
- Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to understand customer pain points and requirements and connect technical-service value to business needs.
- Experience managing numerous concurrent requests and time demands.
- Self-starter attitude and ability to execute new ideas with autonomy.
- Strong desire to work in sales at an early-stage startup.
