Account Executive, KSBY
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Sell multi-platform advertising solutions to local and regional businesses and advertising agencies.
- Utilize the Scripps Sales Process (SSP) to identify customer needs and recommend customized marketing solutions.
- Promote the full suite of digital advertising products in addition to traditional television advertising.
- Prospect, secure appointments, conduct needs analyses, create presentations, and close new business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with traditional and non-traditional advertisers.
- Analyze ratings data, market trends, and audience insights to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and advertising recommendations.
- Manage and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through CRM tools while achieving key performance metrics.
- Collaborate on campaign development, creative concepts, storyboards, and production elements.
- Build strong client partnerships and develop long-term account growth opportunities.
- Handle account maintenance activities including makegoods, credit applications, collections, and revenue tracking.
- Maintain accurate client records and sales activity within CRM systems.
- Communicate account status and revenue forecasts to sales leadership.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 2+ years of successful sales experience preferred.
- Experience with strategic account management, broadcast advertising, digital marketing solutions, or media sales preferred.
- Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and proof of insurance meeting company requirements.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, WebEx, or similar technologies.

COMPENSATION RANGE:
Annual Salary: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00
