- Assigns specific responsibilities for writing sections or gathering necessary data.
- Identifies appropriate team members to participate in the grant preparation process.
- Tracks and maintains records of grant expenditures and reimbursements.
- Works with the Accounting department to ensure complete, accurate, and reconciled financial records.
- Manages the annual external audit of grant funds to ensure compliance.
- Communicates with faculty and staff, particularly program directors, during the preparation, implementation, and reporting phases of grants.
- Prepares and submits grant proposals to government agencies and private foundations by the deadline.
- Compiles all contributions into a cohesive draft, reviews, edits, and gains approval before submission.
- Verifies all program expenditures to ensure the appropriate use of funds.
- Maintains current and accurate communication about grants with stakeholders.
- Prepares grant budgets and budget narratives for submissions.
- Completes and submits progress, final, and financial reports for grants.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Strong written and oral communication skills [Required]

• Working knowledge of accounting [Required]
• Proficiency with student management software and spreadsheets, mainly Excel [Required]
• Ability to develop and maintain effective rapport with faculty and staff [Required]
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines [Required]
Education:
• Bachelor's [Required]
Field of Study:
• in scientific or communication field
Work Experience:
• Grant management experience with federal and state agencies [Required]

$45,196.93 - $84,071.39Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
