Alliance Business Analyst

Job Summary
This role is responsible for supporting and evolving the Alliance business model for LaserJet products, with a focus on hardware funding, supplies programs, financial analysis, business case evaluation, and customer-level SBD program improvements.
The role acts as a key interface between HP and partner for business planning topics, including funding discussions, supplies program communications, financial reviews, and future business model changes.
The role partners cross-functionally with internal teams such as GBU, CO, and TSS to drive analysis, manage program improvements, support decision-making, and ensure alignment with partner - facing priorities.
The role requires strong knowledge of the LaserJet portfolio, Alliance history, business model economics, and operational impacts across HP
Responsibilities
Drive hardware funding and supplies discussions between HP and coordinate internally with GBU, CO, and other stakeholders to support business planning decisions.
Partner with Toner supplies and Category Organization to drive supplies program processes where relevant.
Support business case evaluation for new business model opportunities.
Develop bottom-up financial analysis and review earning statements to support business decisions.
Provide quantitative analysis, currency analysis, and business case support to help the team understand how the business model impacts HP operations.
Support the evolution of Supplies programs from a deal-level model to a customer-level model to improve efficiency, visibility, and cartridge volume optimization.
Help simplify and improve processes by moving from manual toward more systematic program-level submissions.
Support quarterly reporting and partner visibility improvements including the transition from prior HP OPG-based forecasting to prior-year actuals.
Work across functions to manage complex problems where business model, portfolio, financial, operational, and partner considerations need to be evaluated together.
Education & Experience Recommended
Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in strategic management, strategic planning and implementation, consulting, market research, or a related field.
