Analyst, Financial Crime Operation (LATAM Focus - Spanish Speaker)
Own LATAM onboarding operations by reviewing client documentation, issuing RFIs, maintaining audit-ready records, improving processes, coordinating card scheme submissions in Mexico, and partnering with Compliance, Product, and Tech on automation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct checklist-based reviews of client onboarding documentation for completeness and consistency
- Issue Requests for Information to clients for missing or inconsistent documentation
- Maintain accurate, audit-ready records of documentation, RFIs, and case status
- Act as the primary client contact during document collection
- Own onboarding flows, track case progress, and reduce cycle times
- Collaborate with Compliance, Growth, Finance Ops, Product, and Tech
- Document processes into automation-ready SOPs
- Identify and implement agentic automation and AI-assisted workflows
- Prepare Partner Information Forms and supporting card scheme documentation
- Coordinate third-party reviews and card scheme onboarding requirements in Mexico
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in business operations, KYC document processing, customer onboarding, or a similar role
- Experience with structured checklists, data collection workflows, or document review
- Demonstrable experience building with AI, automation tools, agentic workflows, or prompt-based solutions
- Strong attention to detail and a process-first mindset
- Experience managing case queues, document status, escalation protocols, and turnaround improvements
- Ability to identify documentation gaps without making risk-based compliance judgments
- Ability to translate workflows into automated logic
- Comfort working with Product and Tech teams
- Clear communication and professional RFI drafting skills
- Based in or able to operate fully aligned with the Mexico time zone and public holidays
- Willingness to work during local public holidays if required
- Fluent business English and Spanish
- Additional language such as Portuguese is advantageous
