Role Overview
This role sits within the Financial Crimes Office of Asia (FCOA) and supports the management of Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABC) risk across Asia. It provides practical advice, oversight and challenge on key ABC risk areas, with particular focus on third-party engagements, gifts and hospitality, donations and sponsorships, paid speakers, and high-risk candidate hiring.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide clear, risk-based advice on ABC matters, policies and procedures across Asia.

  • Review and assess ABC risks relating to third parties, gifts and hospitality, donations and sponsorships, paid speakers, and high-risk candidate hiring.

  • Manage relevant pre-clearance, escalation and governance processes, including timely documentation and follow-up.

  • Conduct risk assessments, monitoring and thematic reviews; identify control gaps and recommend practical improvements.

  • Support management reporting, audits, regulatory reviews, issue remediation and policy implementation.

  • Work closely with Local Compliance, Legal, Human Resources, Procurement, Risk and business teams to strengthen the ABC control environment.

  • Deliver practical training and awareness to promote sound judgement and a strong compliance culture.

Skills and experience

  • Minumum 3 years of working experience in ABC, financial crime compliance, risk, audit, legal or a related area.

  • Strong analytical judgement, attention to detail and ability to apply policy requirements to practical situations.

  • Clear communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence to challenge constructively.

  • Able to manage competing priorities and work effectively across functions and jurisdictions.

  • Comfortable using digital tools, including Microsoft Copilot, to improve efficiency, productivity and quality of work.
