Applied AI Forward Deployed Engineer
Role Summary
We are seeking a talented Applied AI Forward Deployed Engineer. This is a remote position.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain production-grade infrastructure and applications using TypeScript, PySpark, React, Python, or similar technologies.
- Support customer implementations on Palantir Foundry and AIP.
- Design and build data integration workflows, APIs, Ontology models, and model orchestration pipelines.
- Build high-code applications within Foundry using OSDK, Functions, Actions, Compute Modules, and Marketplace deployments.
- Develop applied AI workflows that help customers move from data and models to operational use cases.
- Translate complex business and technical requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Support event-driven architecture and state-machine orchestration use cases.
- Develop platform standards, documentation, and customer-facing knowledge articles.
- Work with internal stakeholders and customer teams to improve implementation speed and quality.
- Use modern engineering tools such as GitHub and Atlassian for collaboration and delivery.
- Act as a subject matter expert on Foundry, AIP, and applied AI implementation best practices.

Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a hands-on Applied AI FDE with strong Palantir Foundry experience and the ability to build real customer-facing AI and data workflows. They should be comfortable moving across software engineering, data engineering, application development, Ontology, APIs, and model orchestration. The strongest candidates will have direct Foundry or AIP experience, strong TypeScript/PySpark/React/Python skills, and experience turning complex enterprise problems into usable production systems.
