Job Description
Reporting into the Investment Operations function, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient execution of post-trade activities and operational controls across various investment products. Responsibilities include:
- Manage trade confirmations and settlement activities across multiple markets and asset classes.
- Support regulatory and industry requirements relating to trade processing and operational controls.
- Partner closely with traders and investment teams to resolve operational issues and support ongoing business initiatives.
- Monitor and oversee trade lifecycle events to ensure timely and accurate execution.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to operational efficiency initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, brokers, custodians, and external service providers.
- Support risk management and control activities while contributing to new product and business initiatives.
The Successful Applicant
You will be a motivated and analytical operations professional with experience within financial services. Ideal candidates will possess:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
- 2+ years of experience within Asset Management Operations, Investment Operations, Middle Office, or Financial Markets Operations.
- Knowledge of one or more asset classes including Equities, Fixed Income, Futures, or Interest Rate Swaps.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- High attention to detail and a strong risk and control mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Buy-side experience will be viewed favourably.
