Canberra-based Asset Manager opportunity requiring current NV1 clearance and strong ServiceNow ITAM experience

Your new role
An opportunity is available for an experienced Asset Manager to help establish, manage and continuously improve hardware and software asset management capability within a new ServiceNow SaaS environment. This is a hands-on role where you will lead the implementation and operationalisation of ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management Professional (HAM Pro) and Software Asset Management Professional (SAM Pro). You will ensure assets are managed consistently across their full lifecycle while supporting strong governance, compliance, data quality and reporting.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Establishing ServiceNow as the authoritative asset management system
- Managing hardware and software assets across their full lifecycle
- Defining asset management processes, controls and data standards
- Maintaining accurate asset records and asset-to-CI relationships
- Monitoring licence compliance, utilisation, costs and asset-related risks
- Supporting audits, reporting and continuous improvement activities
- Working with technical, cyber, project and BAU stakeholders
- Preparing procedures, work instructions and training materials
- Supporting operational readiness, handover and transition into BAU
What you'll need to succeed
- Hold a current NV1 Security Clearance
- Be based in Canberra, ACT
- Have a minimum of five years' experience in IT Asset Management
- Demonstrate hands-on ServiceNow ITAM experience
- Have strong experience managing hardware and software asset lifecycles
- Understand CMDB and configuration management principles
- Have experience developing governance frameworks, controls and processes
- Possess strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Be capable of working independently and taking ownership of deliverables
