Assistant Accounting Manager (Banking)

A reputable local bank in Hong Kong with a well-established Branch Network is looking for a dynamic Assistant Accounting Manager to join her Financial Accounting Department in Financial Control Division.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and prepare the month-end closing management reports, financial statements, analyses and statutory banking returns

Maintain and reconcile general ledger and sub-ledgers

Compile and review monthly accounting journal adjustments

Participate in ad hoc accounting projects

Requirements:

University degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines

Qualified accountant

At least 5 years' accounting experience in banking industry

Sound accounting and regulatory knowledge

Hands-on knowledge in Excel and Access

Strong communication and presentation skills
