THE JOB:
As an Assistant Beverage Manager at Mandalay Bay, you will be at the heart of an exciting, high-energy beverage operation, helping lead a dynamic team while delivering unforgettable guest experiences. You will bring energy to the floor, inspire exceptional service, and anticipate guest needs to keep every shift running seamlessly. With your leadership and passion for hospitality, you will help create the memorable moments, vibrant atmosphere, and world-class experiences that make Mandalay Bay a premier Las Vegas destination.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Manage assigned operational functions within the department consistent with the strategic plan and vision for the department
Direct smooth, efficient, cost-effective operation, including labor management, supervision of all aspects of services, scheduling and inventory control
Manage delivery and measurement of guest service within assigned department(s) consistent with the company’s core service standards and brand attributes
Provide management support in the oversight of assigned shift to ensure the delivery of quality service to the guests
Coordinate the requisition process and stocking of beverage outlets to maximize revenue for the division
Provide guidance and counsel to beverage employees, ensure the staff is scheduled properly
Provide recommendations to management on daily operational issues
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
High School Diploma or GED
Must be 21 years of age or older
2+ Years of prior relevant experience in Food and Beverage
Previous experience working in a similar luxury resort setting preferred
Previous experience managing employees under a Collective Bargaining Agreement preferred
