POSITION SUMMARY:
The Assistant Manager, Digital Marketing is to support and develop engaging copy for Melco website in multiple languages. The role is to gatekeep the consistency in brand voice across all website content and ensuring best practices for SEO/GEO.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, write, and edit high-quality, engaging copy for our website in multiple languages, with an emphasis on Simplified Chinese.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content aligns with brand strategy and meets business objectives.
- Conduct thorough research to understand the target audience and market trends for effective content creation.
- Optimize website content for traditional & emerging search engines, ensuring best practices for SEO/GEO are implemented.
- Maintain consistency in brand voice and messaging across all website content.
- Analyse website performance metrics and user feedback to refine content strategies and improve user engagement.
- Stay updated on trends in digital marketing and content creation, for both China market and international markets.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in digital marketing, copywriting, or content creation for websites, preferably in multiple languages.
- Experience in the hotel, hospitality, travel, or marketing agency sectors, with a proven track record in managing related client projects.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Linguistics, or a related field.
Skills / Competencies
- Exceptional writing and editing proficiency in Simplified Chinese and English, demonstrating strong attention to detail.
- Ability to craft compelling website copy that drives engagement and conversion.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Experience with content management systems.
