Assistant Manager (Solution Architect, Digitalisation office)

Solution Architect / Assistant Manager in the Digitalisation office of a leading finance company, partnering with internal IT, Information Risk Management, and external vendors to design, source, test, and deploy digital transformation solutions.
Our client is a Leading Finance Company, is seeking for a high-calibre marketing professional to join their team.
Job Descriptions:
- Collaborate with internal IT, Information Risk Management (IRM) department, and external vendors to support the planning, execution, and monitoring of digital transformation projects;
- Identify, source, and test digital solutions to meet business requirements;
- Provide technical expertise and assistance to ensure the successful implementation of digital solutions;
- Work closely with external digital solution vendors and internal technical departments (e.g., IT and IRM) to develop and deploy digital solutions. This includes managing vendors, conducting system testing, ensuring quality control, and validating solutions;
- Assist in identifying, sourcing, and testing digital solutions that can effectively address various business problems;
- Offer technical expertise to project teams throughout the design, development, and implementation phases of digital transformation projects;
- Support the development and execution of test plans and quality assurance procedures to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of digital solutions; and
- Collaborate with the project management team and business units to translate business objectives and requirements into functional solutions.
Requirements:
- University degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related disciplines;
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience in enterprise application development / system integration, preferably in the banking, finance and insurance industry, large technology companies or professional consultancy services;
- Demonstrated experience in developing complex digital solutions, including digital applications, business transformation, solution architecture and design, etc.;
- Experience and knowledge of cloud technology adoption is preferable;
- Proficient in API design & management;
- Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g. Python) will be a bonus;
- Obsession with new technology such as container technology, machine learning, digital customer engagement and etc.;
- Strong vendor management skills;
- Logical, detailed-minded, and well-organised; and
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese with good communication and presentation skills.
