Assistant Production Manager

We are seeking a highly capable Assistant Production Manager to support and manage daily production operations in an aerospace manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in tracking and improving operational KPIs to meet company targets

• Oversee day-to-day operations of production lines, production control & planning

• Manage manpower allocation, chemical processing activities, and equipment maintenance

• Ensure production schedules align with Technical, QA/QC, NDT, Sales, and customer requirements

• Maintain effective communication across all departments to ensure operational alignment

• Drive continuous improvement in processes, efficiency, and production output

• Ensure efficient plant and equipment operations with the production team

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and safety committee requirements

• Maintain 5S housekeeping, safe working conditions, and proper chemical handling and waste disposal

• Support staffing requirement planning and workforce allocation across production lines

Requirements

Education:

• Diploma in Engineering or related discipline

Experience:

• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in production shopfloor environment with the aerospace industry

Good to Have:

• At least 3 years in Aerospace industry in supervisory positions relating to operations.

• At least 3 years of chemical processing experience including but not limited to anodizing, electroplating, chemical cleaning, etc.
