Assistant Tax Manager (Maternity Cover / Up $5200 / Kallang Sector)

Duration: 9 months (Maternity cover)

Location: Kallang Sector (Nearest MRT: Geylang Bahru)

Job Duties

• Provide tax advice (GST, withholding tax, corporate tax, transfer pricing, etc) to business partners and stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance of tax requirements for the Group, including reviewing and/or preparing tax returns where appropriate.

• Manage tax queries, disputes and resolutions together with the relevant business partners and stakeholders.

• Review GST returns and replies to IRAS queries.

• Provide tax updates, if applicable, on a timely basis

• Provide support in tax projects if applicable (eg local tax incentives, transfer pricing documentation, mergers and acquisition, overseas business opportunity, etc)

Job requirements ​

• Degree in accountancy or ACCA / CPA qualification or equivalent, or SCTP accreditation

• 4 – 6 years of relevant experience in a Big 4 accounting firm and/or a large organisation with in-house tax function

• Good knowledge in GST / corporate tax and preferably specialize in one of the mentioned topics.

• Analytical and self-motivated, with good communication and interpersonal skills
