Associate Manager, Global Customer Experience
Role Summary
The Associate Manager, Customer Experience – Shopper Marketing will support the development and execution of insight-driven marketing programs for key digital retail and entertainment platforms, including Prime Video, Google Play and other strategic accounts. As part of the Sony Pictures Home Entertainment Marketing team, this role will partner closely with Customer Experience, Brand Marketing, Sales, Consumer Insights, Media/Digital Marketing, Strategic Planning and other cross-functional teams to bring compelling campaigns and promotional programs to market.
This position is well suited for a highly organized, digitally minded marketer who can manage multiple priorities, translate insights into actionable recommendations and support programs that strengthen customer partnerships, increase consumer engagement and contribute to revenue growth. This role does not have direct supervisory responsibility. The Associate Manager will work closely with internal stakeholders and external customer partners and will have the opportunity to build deeper expertise in digital customer marketing, campaign development and the evolving home entertainment marketplace.
Key Responsibilities
Customer & Account Marketing
- Support day-to-day marketing activities for assigned digital accounts, working closely with Customer Experience leadership and cross-functional partners.
- Coordinate go-to-market materials, monthly pitch presentations, new release recaps and other customer-facing marketing deliverables.
- Prepare materials and insights for recurring customer meetings and assist in presenting new release, television and catalog opportunities.
- Coordinate marketing, merchandising, artwork, metadata and other creative asset deliverables across assigned accounts.
- Track account priorities, deliverables and timelines to help ensure programs are executed accurately and on schedule.
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource on assigned accounts, platform capabilities and emerging opportunities.
Customer Program Development & Execution
- Partner with title planning and marketing teams to support the development of insight-led customer programs aligned with promotional and commercial priorities.
- Contribute ideas for customer activations supporting new releases, television and catalog content.
- Help identify opportunities to increase title visibility, consumer engagement and promotional impact across digital platforms.
- Translate consumer, customer and performance insights into actionable recommendations for account programs.
- Collaborate with Sales and other internal stakeholders to support customer strategies that drive revenue, engagement and overall account performance.
- Coordinate execution across internal teams and external partners, ensuring program requirements, assets and timelines are clearly communicated.
Program Measurement & Optimization
- Track campaign and promotional program performance against established objectives and key performance indicators.
- Assist with post-campaign reporting and analysis to identify learnings, opportunities and recommendations for future programs.
- Support efforts to improve program effectiveness, efficiency, customer satisfaction and overall partnership value.
- Maintain organized reporting, project documentation and performance recaps for assigned accounts and initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- Approximately 2–4 years of experience in customer marketing, digital marketing, media, entertainment, retail marketing or a related field.
- Experience supporting digital marketing programs, customer campaigns or platform-based marketing initiatives.
- Familiarity with digital entertainment, transactional entertainment, streaming platforms or digital retail environments is preferred.
- Experience collaborating with Sales teams, external customers and cross-functional partners.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
- Familiarity with creative development, digital assets, merchandising and content metadata is a plus.
- Curiosity about consumer behavior, digital entertainment and evolving customer/platform trends.
