Associate Manager - Transportation Planner

Overview TCT Scheduling process owner Plan, organize, and optimize the scheduling of shipments to ensure timely delivery and efficient use of resources (fleets and warehouses). This involves analyzing data, using TCT transportation planning models, coordinating with various stakeholders Assign appropriate Carrier to each Shipment based on PepsiCo´s policies, contracts, and agreements with Carriers, the current "Route Guide" and capacity availability information captured by TCT visibility processes Make adjustments to schedules as needed to ensure a practical and feasible shipment schedule Being the Focal Point to create and update the Shipments "Trip Build" Responsibilities Comply to TCT Scheduling processes and procedures Ensure proper TCT transportation planning technology adoption and utilization Meet Service and Productivity objectives Plan, optimize and schedule the most efficient routes for shipments, considering factors such as cost, transit time, fleet productivity and service level agreements (SLAs) Work closely with warehouses, carriers, and customers to ensure alignment on shipment schedules, considering Pick-up and/or Delivery requirements Choose the appropriate Carriers that minimize freight spending and maximize operational efficiency Publish the final Shipment "Trip Build" according to the agreed cut-off time schedule (when applicable) Qualifications Key Skills/Experience Required Engineering / Business university degree from a Tier 1 Engineering Insitute Overall experience of close to 2 - 5 years in an industry working in transport planning process Proficiency in Excel and Knowledge of SAP, TMS or logistic software Fluent in English Differentiating Competencies Required Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Control Tower platforms, and other logistics software Attention to Detail; precision in planning routes, scheduling shipments, and ensuring compliance to service and productivity requirements Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners Ability to resolve conflicts and reach mutually beneficial agreements Easy to adapt to different environments
