Associate - National Accounting for Income Taxes

CLA is currently seeking an Associate in National Accounting for Income Taxes (NAIT) to join our team.

How you’ll create opportunities in this Associate - NAIT role:

• Collaborate with clients to provide customized tax compliance and tax advisory services and work closely with other tax team members to identify and research complex tax issues.
• Focus on engagement management and operational excellence.
• Coordinate day-to-day global tax provision workstreams with Managers / Directors to ensure projects are progressing timely.
• Learn new software and / or help develop standardized templates and tools.
• Willingness to learn new tax concepts.

What you will need:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• At least 1 year relevant experience preferred.
• Eligible to sit for the CPA license preferred.
• Experience with FASB Subtopic ASC 740 and / or International Accounting Standard 12 – Income Taxes preferred.
• ONESOURCE Tax Provision (OTP) or other similar provision software preferred.
• Background in corporate US tax compliance preferred.

The compensation range for this position in New York is: $80,000.00 – $121,000.00
