Automotive Sales Consultant
Capital Lincoln Mazda of Cary is seeking a driven, customer-focused Mazda Sales Consultant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about the Mazda brand, enjoys building relationships, and thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. As a Sales Consultant, you'll guide customers through the vehicle-buying process while delivering an exceptional, personalized experience from start to finish.
What You'll Be Doing
- Greet and engage customers in a friendly, professional manner both in-person and online
- Build rapport and identify customer needs to recommend the right Mazda vehicles
- Demonstrate vehicle features, technology, and performance with confidence and enthusiasm
- Guide customers through the full sales process, from initial contact to vehicle delivery
- Negotiate and close sales while ensuring a positive customer experience
- Stay current on Mazda products, features, and dealership inventory
- Follow up with customers to build long-term relationships and generate referrals
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities
- Handle additional duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- Previous sales experience required; automotive sales experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-first mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service
- Motivated, results-driven, and goal-oriented
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment
- Basic computer skills for managing CRM and customer information
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must be able to pass pre-employment background screenings
