Position Overview
Aligned Technology Group is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design and implement modern cloud automation solutions. This role will focus on Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and operational excellence across AWS environments.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments
- Develop Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, and AWS CDK
- Implement automated deployment and testing workflows
- Configure monitoring, logging, and observability platforms
- Automate operational tasks and reduce manual processes
- Support incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
- Implement containerized solutions using Amazon ECS and EKS
- Establish DevOps governance and engineering best practices
- Advise teams on GitOps, source control, and release management strategies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering experience
- Deep expertise with AWS services and cloud-native architectures
- Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK
- Experience with CI/CD tools and automation frameworks
- Knowledge of container technologies and Kubernetes
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.)
- AWS Professional-level certification preferred
