Backend App Developer

Job Overview

The Backend App Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems and APIs that power AI-driven applications. The role involves working on FastAPI-based microservices, MCP integration, and real-time backend communication for AI workflows. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Python, backend service design, and CI/CD practices while collaborating closely with AI, ML, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration of models into production-ready applications.

Key Responsibilities ________________________________________

• Design and develop REST APIs and backend services using FastAPI and microservice architecture.

• Integrate AI models with MCP-based frameworks and ensure smooth data exchange between components.

• Support real-time backend processing for text, video, or audio streaming in AI workflows.

• Implement Agentic framework integrations and ensure efficient data communication between AI systems.

• Manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment, testing, and monitoring of backend components.

• Optimize backend performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and ensure high system availability.

Required Skills & Qualifications ________________________________________

• 1–1.5 years of hands-on experience as a Backend Developer in AI or microservice-based environments.

• Strong programming skills in Python with proficiency in FastAPI (Flask or Django REST Framework also acceptable).

• Knowledge of microservices design, API versioning, and secure communication protocols.

• Familiarity with MCP server development, real-time backend communication, and Agentic frameworks.

• Experience in CI/CD implementation using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.

• Understanding of database management (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or MySQL) and backend data flow.

Preferred (Good to Have) ________________________________________

• Experience with real-time streaming (LiveKit, WebRTC, or Socket.io).

• Exposure to Airflow or Celery for parallel processing or backend orchestration.

• Knowledge of Elasticsearch for search and indexing performance optimization.

• Understanding of Linux-based deployment and GPU-based backend processing.

• Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes for containerized deployments and scaling.
