Backend Engineer
Develop and operate backend systems for new Bithumb Pay products, participate from initial planning, and lead backend ownership and product improvements.
Responsibilities
- Develop and operate backend systems for Bithumb Pay products
- Participate closely from the initial planning stage
- Lead rapid product improvements
- Lead the backend area
- Design APIs and distributed system architectures
- Handle concurrency control for payment and order transactions
- Propose product improvement ideas and lead collaboration through implementation
Requirements
- At least 3 years of Kotlin or Java Spring Framework service development and operations experience
- Ability to make practical technical decisions considering business conditions and constraints
- Self-directed problem-solving and rapid execution
- Product ownership experience leading the backend area and completing products
- Open communication and collaboration
- Sustainable architecture design with low coupling and isolated responsibilities is preferred
- API design and distributed system architecture experience is preferred
- Concurrency control experience in payment or order transaction domains is preferred
- Experience with the full 0-to-1 product cycle is preferred
- Experience proposing product improvements and leading collaboration through implementation is preferred
- Simple payment, finance, or virtual asset domain experience is preferred
