Backend Senior Manager
Lead the company's backend technical strategy, roadmap, architecture, system lifecycle, security, compliance, and development organization supporting digital currency trading, payments, authentication, and settlement.
Responsibilities
- Formulate backend technical strategy, roadmap, and system architecture plans.
- Lead design and optimization of core backend architecture and technology stack.
- Research and introduce backend technologies, tools, and methodologies.
- Evaluate technical solutions for core business scenarios.
- Oversee backend development from design through deployment and operation.
- Supervise trading, payment settlement, user, asset, risk control, and API gateway modules.
- Manage system iteration, maintenance, performance monitoring, and bottleneck resolution.
- Coordinate with DevOps on CI/CD pipeline optimization.
- Establish backend security management, audits, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests.
- Ensure compliance with FATF, MiCA, and local regulations.
- Establish disaster recovery and emergency response mechanisms.
- Build, manage, and develop the backend engineering team.
- Assign work, resolve complex technical issues, and organize training.
- Manage team performance and professional growth.
- Collaborate with product, app development, trading, compliance, risk, operations, data, and external technical partners.
- Manage backend projects, budgets, costs, quality, risks, and technical resources.
Requirements
- 10+ years of backend development and management experience.
- 5+ years of senior backend team management experience.
- Experience in fintech, digital currency, payments, or large-scale financial institutions preferred.
- Experience leading large-scale, high-concurrency, highly available backend systems.
- Proficiency in Java, Go, Python, or Node.js.
- Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native technologies.
- Strong system architecture design capabilities.
- Knowledge of encryption, authentication, authorization, anti-attack measures, and digital asset security compliance.
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, containerization, monitoring, and alerting.
- Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Prometheus.
- Knowledge of digital currency exchange business, including spot and derivative trading, fund flows, and settlement.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, decision-making, and resource integration skills.
- Strong technical research and learning ability.
- Excellent Chinese and English communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
- PMP, CKA, CKAD, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect certifications preferred.
