BI Analyst

You will proactively build and improve the organization's business intelligence platform by organizing dashboards, queries, permissions, and the data model. You will build reporting pipelines for finance, operations, compliance and other departments, analyze large data sets, collaborate with data and engineering teams, advocate for self-service BI, manage product requirements, and apply AI models and automation to analytics, forecasting, anomaly detection, and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve the organization's business intelligence platform, including dashboards, queries, permissions, and data models.
• Build reporting pipelines for finance, operations, compliance, and other departments.
• Analyze large data sets using database query and visualization tools.
• Collaborate with Data Architects, Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and SRE.
• Act as a data evangelist for business stakeholders.
• Drive development of a self-service BI platform.
• Manage and review product requirements and provide stakeholder feedback.
• Leverage AI models for data analytics, forecasting, and business intelligence reporting.
• Use AI-powered automation for anomaly detection, trend analysis, and data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

• Advanced data analysis and SQL skills.
• Data modeling experience for business use cases and self-service BI.
• Experience administering BI platforms with large numbers of reports and dashboards.
• Basic experience developing or fine-tuning AI models for data analysis, forecasting, or anomaly detection.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of financial modeling, analysis, and planning.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage time and multiple priorities effectively.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and strong business acumen.
• Fluent English for cross-functional communication.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace.
• Relevant experience or strong interest in the crypto industry is a plus.
• Experience with Python, data warehouses, data lakes, ETL frameworks, Apache Spark, or AI-powered analytics tools is a plus.
