Blockchain Architect
Newton is seeking a Blockchain Architect to lead its public blockchain at a high level of professionalism, collaborate with business partners, solve complex problems, and support a shared-learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and launch of the public blockchain.
- Ensure short- and long-term objectives are met through effective resourcing.
- Collaborate with product management on development timelines and delivery.
- Design and manage processes for roadmap visibility and execution.
- Track, analyze, and report on development progress and team efficiency.
- Develop and mentor engineering team members.
- Support internal and external teams building applications on the blockchain.
- Monitor technology trends and ensure adherence to technical and cybersecurity standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of practical experience designing, implementing, and launching a public blockchain.
- Ability to code in one or more of Golang, Solidity, and Rust.
- Experience working with large codebases.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity guidelines and best practices.
- Strong team leadership and collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical and user-focused problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management.
- Active open-source contributor and hackathon participant.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks.
