Blockchain Developer
Create disruptive Web3 applications and develop backend foundations at the intersection of Web3 and FinTech. Collaborate with development and product teams, build reusable cross-chain libraries, maintain client- and server-side applications, and lead third-party integrations.
Responsibilities
- Create disruptive Web3 applications
- Collaborate closely with development and product teams
- Develop backend foundations for the intersection of Web3 and FinTech
- Develop subject-matter expertise in payments and Web3
- Understand asset flows from the smart-contract perspective
- Build reusable cross-chain libraries
- Maintain and extend client- and server-side applications for integration and business
Requirements
- Have 2+ years of software engineering experience
- Have 1 year of blockchain developer experience
- Have experience with Node.js, MongoDB, MySQL, AWS, and Kafka
- Be familiar with Web3, Ethers, Hardhat, OpenZeppelin tooling, and smart contract debugging
- Understand blockchains, smart contracts, dApps, wallet types, and standards
- Master applied encryption principles, including encryption, digital signatures, hashing, message authentication, and secure key-pair transfer
- Have experience leading third-party integrations
- Be a self-starter comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment
- Be familiar with crypto-economic protocol design, including governance and incentive structures
- Have prior experience building systems for financial markets
