Business Analyst
Summary
Business Analyst at an aged-care not-for-profit, bridging IT and business to elicit requirements, redesign processes, and deliver solutions that improve customer experience. Uses Lean/Six Sigma workshops, documentation, and supports UAT and training.
About the role
The Business Analyst is responsible for enhancing ACH Group's solutions and capabilities by eliciting, analysing, developing, communicating and validating the requirements for changes to customer services, business processes, and information technology systems.
Key responsibilities
- Guide the businesses in improving processes, products, services and software
- Bridge the gap between IT and the business to redesign processes, determine requirements and deliver solutions to improve customer experience and business operations
- Create detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions for business improvements
- Build trusted relationships with business users
- Elicitation and capture of business requirements and reporting them back to stakeholders, including identifying and then prioritizing technical and functional requirements
- Run workshops within the business, using techniques such as Lean/Six Sigma to ensure process design drives improvements to optimise performance and deliver customer outcomes
- Support User Acceptance Testing and Training to ensure the success of the project
About you
- Proven varied Business Analyst experience with demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving experience
- Adaptability and flexibility in your approach; willingness to take on new challenges throughout various stages of projects
- Demonstrated experience of successfully delivering outcomes
- Proven requirements facilitation and documentation skills
- Attention to detail
- Fantastic communication, interpersonal and consultative skills to build relationships and liaise with a range of stakeholders
- A Police Check for Aged Care less than 12 months old at commencement
