Business Analyst (AI)
Summary
Business Analyst supporting AI adoption across an organization — identifies business pain points, translates them into AI use cases, supports AI prototypes/POCs, and drives responsible AI use. Core focus: Generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, Python, and cloud-based AI/ML deployment.
We are looking for a Business Analyst (AI) to support the adoption and implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) initiatives across the organisation. You will work closely with business, product and technical teams to identify opportunities where AI can improve processes, develop practical AI solutions, and promote the safe and responsible use of AI.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about Generative AI, LLMs and emerging technologies, and enjoys bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify business pain points, process inefficiencies and automation opportunities where AI can deliver meaningful improvements.
- Gather and analyse business requirements and translate them into practical AI use cases and solution requirements.
- Support the design, development and implementation of AI prototypes and Proof-of-Concepts (POCs).
- Work with stakeholders and technical teams to drive the adoption and integration of AI solutions across different business functions.
- Conduct workshops, demonstrations and training sessions to improve AI literacy and adoption among users.
- Provide guidance on the safe, responsible and appropriate use of AI and Generative AI tools.
- Monitor deployed AI initiatives and evaluate their effectiveness, adoption and business impact.
- Track and report outcomes such as productivity improvements, efficiency gains and cost savings.
- Develop reusable AI frameworks, guidelines, documentation, standards and training materials.
- Keep up to date with developments in AI technologies, regulations, governance and responsible AI practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business users, product teams, engineers, policy teams and external partners.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, AI/Innovation Analyst, Product Analyst or similar technology-focused role.
- Good understanding of Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), including their capabilities, limitations and risks.
- Familiarity with prompt engineering and practical applications of LLMs.
- Experience supporting AI adoption, automation, digital transformation or innovation initiatives would be advantageous.
- Basic hands-on experience with Python is preferred.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and deployment of AI/ML or LLM-based applications would be an advantage.
- Strong requirements gathering, process analysis and documentation skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Structured, detail-oriented and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership.
Good to Have
- Experience building or supporting LLM-powered applications, AI assistants or chatbots.
- Knowledge of AI governance, responsible AI, data privacy and AI-related regulations.
- Experience working within a large enterprise or public-sector environment.
