Business Analyst (Calypso)

Position: This role aims to develop on the Calypso back-office package, in project mode as well as maintenance, and to support the “run the bank” function.

Main Responsibilities

Build & change management

• Analyse enhancement requests for the repo business and new products.
• Propose solutions in collaboration with Architects.
• Specifications, workload estimates, planning, test scenarios, release documentation.
• Coordinate user acceptance tests.
• Monthly releases, following the team’s milestones for analysis, coding and testing.

Incidents and Requests management (business users and other IT teams)

• Application support, level 3 (expert).
• Troubleshoot and fix issues/bugs.

Qualifications and Profile

• Experience as a Calypso business analyst on Calypso back office.
• Knowledge of Static Data, Workflows, Scheduled Task, Confirmations, Settlements, Messages / Swift messages, Positions, Accounting, Corporate action, Filters, Reporting Framework, Reconciliation features.
• Understanding of financial assets (repos, bonds, SLB, issuances) and trade lifecycle.
• Experience with regulatory reporting HRF, NORIA, MMSR.
• Experience in interfacing Calypso with external systems.
