Business Analyst / Project Manager - 6 Month Contract
Summary
Contract Business Analyst/Project Manager leading technology, software, and process improvement projects from discovery through to implementation. Facilitates workshops, gathers business requirements, and manages project plans, risks, budgets, timelines, and governance.
We are seeking an experienced Contract BA/PM to play a key role in managing initiatives from discovery through to implementation, bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions.
You will be leading and delivering technology, software, systems, and process improvement projects, you will facilitate discovery workshops and gather business requirements, in addition you will develop project plans, manage risks, budgets, timelines, and governance activities

To quality for the opportunity you will have:
- 5+ years' experience in project management, business analysis, digital transformation, or technology-enabled change
- Proven experience delivering software, systems, or business improvement initiatives
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience gathering requirements, facilitating workshops, and managing project delivery
- Knowledge of project governance, risk management, testing, and change adoption
- Ability to translate business needs into practical, achievable solutions
- Current NZ driver's licence and willingness to travel domestically when required
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Visio, or Miro
- Exposure to both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments
- Project Management or Business Analysis certifications would be a bonus
