Business Analyst - SAP SD/MM

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with deep expertise in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM) modules. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SAP project implementations, including requirements gathering, process mapping, and system configuration support. This role bridges business needs and technical solutions, ensuring successful delivery of SAP functionalities aligned with organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyse business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Gather, document, and validate functional requirements for SAP SD/MM modules.
• Support end-to-end SAP implementation projects, including blueprinting, testing, and go-live activities.
• Work closely with SAP consultants and developers to ensure accurate system configuration.
• Conduct gap analysis and propose solutions to meet business needs.
• Prepare functional specifications for enhancements and integrations.
• Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide training/documentation for end-users.
• Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure smooth communication and delivery.

Experience:

• 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst in SAP environments.
• Strong knowledge of SAP SD and MM modules (configuration and process flow).
• Proven track record in SAP implementation projects (full lifecycle preferred).
• Ability to create functional documentation, process maps, and test scripts.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Familiarity with integration points between SD/MM and other SAP modules (FI, PP, WM)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications:

• Matric and a tertiary qualification
• SAP certification in SD or MM.
• Experience in S/4HANA migration or implementation.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA).
