We are seeking a Business Analyst to lead the end-to-end system development for a brand-new incentives scheme under a whole-of-government framework. Moving well beyond standard workflow process mapping, this key role will see you driving hands-on requirements gathering, data analysis, and user acceptance testing to deliver tangible technological solutions.

What You Will Do:
  • Lead end-to-end system development for a new incentives scheme, taking concepts from initial requirements gathering through to implementation.
  • Define and document comprehensive business and system requirements, data profiling, data cleansing, and reporting requirements for the new system.
  • Act as the primary connection point between policy experts, operations, and ICT development teams, comfortably bridging the gap between technical and business stakeholders.
  • Develop test strategies, test plans, and test cases, while leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
  • Facilitate stakeholder communication and analyze system bugs to prioritise ongoing development activities and enhancements.

What You Need to Apply for This Role:
  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst with a strong background in building systems from the ground up, not just documenting existing workflows.
  • Demonstrated experience in data profiling, cleansing, and identifying data and reporting requirements for new software platforms.
  • Experience developing test strategies and leading end-to-end UAT execution.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to facilitate workshops, guide teams, and speak the language of technical development teams.
  • Ability to translate complex policy objectives and operational needs into actionable ICT development items.
