Business Architect - 3660544 (USA)

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Business Architect position! This is a 6 month contract-to-hire opportunity and will be remote in the United States working 8-5 EST Time Zone.

This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Translate business strategy into executable capability maps, value stream models, and initiative roadmaps that align to strategic objectives
• Develop and maintain enterprise business architecture artifacts including capability models, value streams, and target-state operating models
• Partner with executive leadership, product teams, and enterprise architecture to ensure alignment between business strategy and technology execution
• Identify capability gaps and prioritize investment opportunities based on business value and strategic impact
• Lead portfolio planning and initiative prioritization efforts to optimize resource allocation and transformation outcomes
• Facilitate cross-functional alignment sessions with business and technology stakeholders to drive consensus on architectural decisions
• Assess current business processes, organizational structures, and systems for efficiency opportunities and strategic alignment
• Establish and enforce business architecture standards, frameworks, and governance practices across the enterprise
• Collaborate with Enterprise, Solution, and Data Architects to ensure business intent is reflected in solution designs
• Ensure end-to-end traceability from strategic objectives through capabilities, initiatives, and measurable business outcomes

What You'll Need to Have:

• 10+ years of experience in business architecture, enterprise strategy, management consulting, or business transformation roles
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain business architecture artifacts including capability maps, value streams, and operating models at scale
• Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder facilitation skills with proven ability to influence without direct authority
• Strong knowledge of Business Architecture Guild BIZBOK concepts and practices, with BIAN framework experience preferred
• Experience working in large, complex enterprises within financial services industry, including understanding of regulatory requirements and risk considerations
• Proficiency with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and their application to business transformation
• Strategic thinking capabilities with expertise in capability modeling, value stream mapping, and systems thinking
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
• CBA or TOGAF certification a plus

Pay Range: $90-95+/hr
