Job Summary
astute industries seeks a Business Development Manager to establish customer relationships, shape commercial strategy, and deliver measurable business value through industrial digitalisation solutions in manufacturing, logistics, and warehousing sectors.
Responsibilities
- Identify, acquire, and retain customers in manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, and operations-focused sectors to grow the customer base
- Develop and manage business opportunities by preparing proposals, quotations, and managing commercial submissions through contract awards
- Conduct discovery meetings, workshops, and site assessments to analyze customers’ business processes and operational challenges
- Present solution proposals articulating clear business value to customers and stakeholders
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement practical, end-to-end industrial automation and digitalisation solutions
Required competencies and certifications
- Demonstrate strong understanding of technical concepts in manufacturing and logistics, including Industrial IoT, MES/MOM, ERP systems, industrial automation, smart manufacturing, Industry 4.0, and industrial digitalisation
- Exhibit excellent communication and presentation skills to engage business owners and senior decision-makers effectively
- Show self-driven and resourceful work approach suitable for a close-knit startup environment
- Uphold strong integrity, accountability, and ownership in all responsibilities
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience working in a startup environment is advantageous
Other Information
Renumeration
- Base Salary: >SGD4,500+ per month, with attractive commission
