Business Development Manager (Italy)
Build Vivid's partnerships channel from the ground up, owning strategy, partner acquisition, and scalable customer acquisition through referral and integration partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Build and own Vivid's partnerships acquisition channel with accountants, bookkeepers, tax advisors, and accounting-software providers.
- Identify, scope, pitch, negotiate, and close referral and integration partnerships.
- Develop a market-specific go-to-market strategy and set acquisition targets.
- Shape and prioritise accounting-software integrations with Product.
- Manage the full partner lifecycle, including sourcing, onboarding, enablement, and account management.
- Maintain senior relationships with partner firms and platforms.
- Analyse partner-driven acquisition performance across volume, conversion, CAC, and retention.
- Represent Vivid at relevant industry events, associations, and trade bodies.
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Compliance.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, channel sales, or relationship management.
- Track record of negotiating and closing commercial deals with third-party companies.
- Native or fluent market-language command and strong working English.
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, prioritisation, and strategic skills.
- Driven, collaborative, results-oriented mindset with comfort owning targets and building from zero.
- Analytical thinking and familiarity with Google Sheets, Slides, Excel, and AI tools.
- Natural curiosity and genuine desire to make an impact.
- Experience in financial services, fintech, B2B SaaS, or payments is nice to have.
- Existing network among accountants, tax advisors, bookkeepers, or accounting-software vendors is nice to have.
- Familiarity with local accounting and invoicing software ecosystems is nice to have.
- Experience launching referral, affiliate, or channel-partner programmes is nice to have.
