Business Development Manager (KSA)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Management
· Lead the development, enhancement, and lifecycle management of existing products to maximize sales and profitability.
· Identify, evaluate, and lead new product development opportunities from concept to market launch.
2.Trade Promotions & Discounts
· Develop, manage, and evaluate trade promotions, commercial offers, and discount strategies to achieve sales growth while protecting profitability.
· Monitor the effectiveness and ROI of promotional campaigns and recommend improvements.
3. Market Demand & Supply
· Analyze market demand, sales trends, and customer behavior across all regions of Saudi Arabia to identify growth opportunities.
· Monitor regional supply and demand to ensure the right product assortment and commercial strategy for each market.
4. Portfolio & Category
- Manage the product portfolio by identifying high-performing products, underperforming SKUs, and opportunities for product optimization.
- Commercial Intelligence
- Monitor competitors' products, pricing, promotions, and market activities, providing actionable recommendations to strengthen the company's competitive position.
- Cross-Functional Leadership
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Finance to ensure successful product launches and commercial execution.
7. Trade Promotions, Pricing & Discounts
Develop, manage, and evaluate trade promotions, commercial offers, pricing, and discount strategies to achieve sales growth while protecting profitability.
Monitor the effectiveness and ROI of promotional campaigns and recommend improvements.
8. Market Demand, Supply & Forecasting
Analyze market demand, sales trends, and customer behavior across all regions of Saudi Arabia to identify growth opportunities.
Monitor regional supply and demand to ensure the right product assortment and commercial strategy for each market.
Collaborate with Supply Chain to develop demand forecasts and ensure product availability across all regions.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in Business Development, Marketing, or Commercial roles within the FMCG Food industry.
- Experience in market data analysis and demand forecasting using Nielsen, Circana, or equivalent market intelligence tools is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of FMCG market dynamics, distribution channels, and consumer behavior.
- Experience in developing business strategies and managing strategic partnerships.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is preferred.
