Business Development Manager
Job Overview
A Business Development Manager with ambition and experience is needed to lead growth initiatives and build new business channels in the government (B2G) and enterprise (B2B) sectors. The role entails responsibility for converting opportunities into closed deals, developing relationships with decision-makers, and enhancing the entity's presence in the Saudi market.
Main Responsibilities
- Build and manage the sales pipeline from qualification to closure, ensuring adherence to targeted performance metrics.
- Proactively identify potential clients in government sectors and large enterprises, including quasi-governmental entities.
- Prepare and evaluate proposals—technical, financial, and commercial—for decision-makers at various levels.
- Monitor competitors and government tenders, assessing them through established platforms (e.g., Etimad, Munafasat).
- Negotiate contracts and pricing to achieve optimal profit margins.
- Establish long-term relationships with clients and manage key accounts.
- Coordinate with technical and marketing teams to ensure proposals align with client requirements.
- Update client and opportunity data regularly in the CRM system.
- Provide periodic performance reports and forecasts to senior management.
Skills
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration
Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the software or SaaS sector.
Proven track record in closing deals with government entities or large corporations.
Familiarity with government procurement processes and tenders.
Ability to utilize CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot).
