Job Description
We are looking for a responsible and hands-on Cleaning Supervisor to oversee daily cleaning operations and ensure that cleaning services are delivered according to company and client standards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising cleaning staff, managing manpower deployment, conducting site inspections, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety and service quality.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning operations at assigned sites.
Plan and deploy cleaning staff according to operational requirements and work schedules.
Monitor cleaners' attendance, punctuality, performance and work discipline.
Conduct regular site inspections and ensure cleaning standards and service requirements are met.
Perform quality checks and follow up on cleaning issues or service deficiencies.
Train and guide cleaning staff on proper cleaning procedures, equipment and chemical usage.
Ensure compliance with workplace safety, health and safety (WSH), and company procedures.
Monitor the proper use, maintenance and storage of cleaning equipment and supplies.
Liaise with clients and site representatives regarding operational matters, feedback and service requests.
Handle and resolve day-to-day operational issues and escalate major issues to management when necessary.
Maintain daily records, checklists, attendance records and other operational documentation.
Support manpower planning, onboarding and deployment of new cleaning staff.
Ensure compliance with relevant Singapore cleaning industry requirements and Progressive Wage Model (PWM) requirements.
Requirements
Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in cleaning operations or a supervisory role.
Experience in commercial, industrial, residential, hospitality or facilities cleaning is preferred.
Good leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to supervise and motivate a team of cleaning staff.
Able to work independently and handle multiple operational matters.
Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
Basic computer and documentation skills.
Willing to work flexible hours, weekends or public holidays when required by site operations.
Relevant cleaning or supervisory training/certifications will be an advantage.
