About the Role
As an early member of our business development team, you will play an integral role on our sales team by contributing to all facets of our sales efforts. Your core responsibility will be helping to source and schedule meetings for the business development team, whether through setting meetings through a high volume of outbound outreach, helping to prospect within existing clients, qualifying inbound leads, and managing conferences, events and lead lists oftentimes working independently while managing multiple initiatives. We will count on you to research untapped markets, identify potential relationships and share newly found industry knowledge with the team. As an external facing member of the team, sharp writing skills and the ability to think on your feet are vital.
As you demonstrate success, your responsibilities may expand to include end-to-end management of the sales cycle, with opportunity to grow into closing and onboarding new business. Along the way, you will contribute to our overall sales efforts, from helping with conferences and events, digging into metrics and reporting, assisting in onboarding of new clients and overall customer success, managing our CRM and more.
Principal Responsibilities
- Generate leads for the business development team through a high-volume of outbound activity, integrating both email and call campaigns
- Manage leads across multiple channels, including inbounds, marketing-generated leads and conferences/events
- Schedule meetings for the Business Development Team and qualify sales opportunities
- Research new markets and identify new clients
- Manage new lead sources, including list creation and management
- Drive lead creation through outbound sales outreach—both email and over the phone
- Help with conferences and events, including logistics, set-up and follow-up
- Assist in activation of existing clients by prospecting into their advisor base
- Contribute to CRM, sales technology, reporting, and team operations
- Potential end-to-end sales cycle management, particularly of smaller clients
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1+ years of related experience
- FINRA Series 7 licensed
- Due to the nature of this position, as part of the background check process, candidates must be able to pass a fingerprint background check to qualify as a fingerprinted person under FINRA. For roles requiring registration, additional regulatory screenings may apply, including a review of Form U5 disclosures and other relevant licensing information.
- Financial services background or true personal expertise with finance
- Technology company background or native comfort with technology

Base Salary Range: $72,500 - $95,100 plus bonus
