About the role

The position is primarily responsible for the Defence portfolio, in which you will be part of an enthusiastic, committed and customer focused team. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all our customers, and you will build strong relationships with your internal stakeholders.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Workforce management to ensure service delivery complies with contract requirements

  • Support for recruitment to ensure a pool of security-cleared personnel to underpin anticipated workforce demands and surge requirements

  • Service delivery monitoring ensuring MSS Security meet quality (compliance and conformance) and performance requirements

  • Resolution of service delivery non-performance, non-compliance, and non-conformance issues, including development of service delivery improvement and innovation initiatives

  • Data collation and preparation of contract service delivery reports

  • Support the Regional Manager with Contract Change Proposals

  • Undertake procurement to support service delivery

  • Collate site-specific Risk Registers and identify opportunities to reduce risk

  • Contribute to the regional IMS implementation, business system improvements, the Business Improvement Plan, and the regional Business Continuity Plan.

Skills & experience

  • Experience working within defence or other industries with a similarly complex regulatory framework

  • Workforce management including rostering, labour planning and operational demand forecasting

  • Strong communication skills with capacity for adaption according to audience.

  • Administrative competence including systems, correspondence, time management, document control and reporting.

  • People management skills including expectations, coaching / mentoring, performance management, disciplinary matters, succession planning and employee retention.

  • Experience drafting standard operating procedures and auditing against such systems.

  • ACT Security Licence

  • Must be an Australian citizen, eligible for AGSVA clearance / DCAC.

  • Cert IV or higher in Leadership, Management or equivalent discipline, or willingness to complete.
