Harborview Medical Center's Ground West Clinics has an outstanding opportunity for a full-time Business Operations Supervisor.
WORK SCHEDULE
100% FTE, 40 hours weekly
Mon - Fri Day shift
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
Harborview's Ground West Clinics includes OB/GYN, Pediatrics, International Medicine, and Memory & Brain Wellness. Reporting to the Health Service Manager, this position serves as the operational lead within the clinic leadership team, driving efficiency, financial performance, and service excellence in alignment with UW Medicine's mission and Pillar Goals. These four co-located clinics see patients of all ages everyday with multidisciplinary teams coordinating their care. Ground West Clinic offers a unique opportunity to support Harborview's Mission with this combination of specialty and primary care.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee daily administrative and front-end revenue cycle operations including registration, insurance verification, prior authorizations, referral management, surgical scheduling, and charge capture
Lead and manage clinic improvement projects focused on workflow efficiency, revenue integrity, and patient satisfaction
Supervise, mentor, and develop clinic support staff including hiring, performance evaluations, scheduling, and corrective action
Monitor and analyze key financial and operational performance metrics; develop and implement action plans to address variances
Collaborate with the Health Service Managers, medical staff, nursing leadership, and UW Medicine departments including Revenue Integrity, and Compliance
Drive Epic system updates, process improvements, and strategic initiatives supporting clinic growth
REQUIREMENTS
Front office experience in a medical clinic setting
Revenue cycle and/or medical finance experience
Progressive supervisory experience with budgetary responsibility
Proficiency with Epic or similar electronic health record systems
Experience in a multi-specialty or academic medical center environment
