Business System Analyst (CoinsPaid Core)

This role gathers and validates business and system requirements, models crypto transaction flows, analyzes solution impacts, designs external integrations, creates functional and system specifications, explains blockchain concepts to cross-functional teams, supports integration testing and UAT, and maintains product and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Gather, validate, and document business and system requirements.
• Model business processes, including crypto transaction flows, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Analyze issues, risks, benefits, and impacts of existing and proposed solutions.
• Design and document integrations with blockchain networks, liquidity providers, payment systems, and other external systems.
• Create functional and system specifications, including PRDs, SRSs, API specifications, and diagrams.
• Explain complex technical and blockchain concepts to cross-functional teams.
• Define business problems through investigation and collection of technical and non-technical information.
• Outline detailed requirements and ensure delivered solutions meet business needs.
• Participate in integration testing, UAT, and validation of financial and transaction flows.
• Maintain product and project documentation standards.
• Contribute to requirements-management methods and business-case preparation.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams on solution design.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Business/System Analyst.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to explain complex ideas simply and use a structured, logical approach.
• Strong prioritization, focus, and self-motivation.
• Understanding of SDLC, PDLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with business analysis tools and BPMN/UML process modeling.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
• Understanding of blockchain fundamentals and major networks including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and EVM chains.
• Experience with REST/WebSocket APIs, webhooks, and event-driven systems.
• Understanding of the end-to-end transaction lifecycle.
• Experience with SQL, data analysis, log analysis, API responses, and transaction data.
• Familiarity with Postman and Swagger.
• Experience building system requirements for new products from scratch.
• Understanding of token standards and integrations with external providers.
• Experience in crypto, fintech, or payments.
• Understanding of crypto custody, AML/KYC, transaction monitoring, exchanges, custodians, or wallet providers.
• Basic understanding of smart contracts and DeFi concepts.
• Business Analysis certifications such as IIBA or CBAP are preferred.
