Cafe Manager

Job requirements

• Team player, must be able to support in all areas of the cafe.
• Good communication skills, spoken and written English.
• Must be responsible, motivated and have a positive attitude.
• Candidate must possess at least Higher secondary/Pre-U/A level/College, Professional Certificate/NiTEC or equivalent.
• Experience in F&B, especially in bakery, pastry and speciality coffee establishment is necessary.
• At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  
  Job functions
• Oversees in daily management of outlet on all aspects of operations
  - Communicate with guest and be able to answer all queries.
  - Maintain high level of store cleanliness and appearance.
  - Have knowledge of ingredients used in all our products.
  - Be able to carry out daily operations, opening and closing of the store.
  - Ensure efficient and friendly customer service
  - Oversees beverage service (previous barista experience is a plus).
• Responsible for keeping track of accounts (invoices, sales receipts), handle sales transactions and banking duties.
• Responsible for guest experience and be an example of exceptional service, providing professional communication to both guests and colleagues.
• Responsible for daily operations, opening and closing of the store.
• Responsible for managing, training, monitoring and scheduling staff.
• Manage personal and corporate orders, delivery orders, advise customers on products, coordinate with kitchen to ensure smooth operation.
• Costing of all products.
• Ensures maximum profits with minimal costs including efficient scheduling and inventory control, working together with the culinary team.
• Ordering and keeping track of of supplies for both front and back of house, liasing with all suppliers.
• Ensure that licensing and safety regulations are up to date.
• Ability to manage with attention to detail and genuine care.
• Have a deep passion for hospitality.
