CAM Commercial Music Social Media (FWS/NFWS)

The Student Social Media Lead develops and manages digital content that promotes the Commercial Music Program, student performances, events, and productions. This position creates engaging visual content across multiple social media platforms while maintaining a consistent program brand.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a social media content calendar.
• Capture photos and videos of performances, recording sessions, classes, and special events.
• Produce engaging short-form content including Instagram Reels, stories, promotional videos, and event highlights.
• Design graphics and promotional materials for concerts, showcases, and program activities.
• Collaborate with faculty and student organizations to promote upcoming events.
• Monitor social media engagement and recommend strategies for audience growth.
• Maintain consistent branding across all digital platforms.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Valid Drivers License and Clean Driving Record required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience creating content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and other social media platforms.
• Strong photography and videography skills.
• Experience editing short-form video content.
• Knowledge of graphic design principles and visual branding.
• Excellent written communication and organizational skills.
• Creative mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines.
