๐Ÿ“ Position Summary

Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the Student Analyst Level 2 develops clinical analysis skills by providing direct clinical services, assisting with program development, supporting behavior intervention programming, mentoring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and participating in clinical assessments and parent collaboration. This position is designed for graduate students seeking to expand their clinical decision-making skills while accruing supervised fieldwork hours toward BCBA certification.


๐Ÿ“‹ Tier 2 Requirements

๐ŸŽ“ Title: Student Analyst Level 2 โ€“ Developing Analyst

๐Ÿ’ฒ Pay: RBT Tier 2โ€“3 ($20โ€“$22/hour)


โœ… Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of six (6) months employed with Amenity ABA Center

  • Minimum of six (6) months of experience as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

  • Currently enrolled in a Master's degree program in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field

  • Actively accruing supervised fieldwork hours toward BCBA certification (800โ€“1,200 hours)

Develop foundational clinical reasoning skills while assisting the BCBA with assessments, treatment planning, staff development, and parent collaboration.


๐Ÿ“Œ Essential Duties & Responsibilities

๐Ÿงฉ Clinical Services

  • Provide direct ABA therapy as assigned

  • Cross-train across multiple client cases

  • Review daily client data and identify trends

  • Communicate client progress and concerns to the supervising BCBA

  • Assist in implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs


๐Ÿ“Š Clinical Assessment Skills

The Student Analyst will progressively demonstrate competency in:

  • Independently conducting preference assessments

  • Assisting the BCBA with Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)

  • Collecting and summarizing Antecedent-Behavior-Consequence (ABC) data

  • Identifying behavioral patterns from assessment data

  • Assisting with developmental and skill-based assessments


๐Ÿง  Programming Responsibilities

Under BCBA supervision, the Student Analyst will:

  • Graph client data and interpret treatment progress

  • Review treatment data for accuracy

  • Recommend program modifications based on data trends

  • Assist in developing behavior reduction procedures

  • Draft skill acquisition goals for BCBA review

  • Monitor treatment integrity

  • Ensure clinical programming is implemented with fidelity


๐Ÿ‘ฅ Staff Training & Clinical Leadership

  • Support BCBAs with supervision of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)

  • Conduct training and shadowing for new staff

  • Model clinical procedures and teaching strategies

  • Provide constructive feedback to RBTs under BCBA supervision

  • Assist with treatment integrity observations

  • Promote consistency across therapists

  • Serve as a positive clinical role model

Working alongside the BCBA, the Student Analyst will:

  • Participate in parent training sessions

  • Model intervention strategies for caregivers

  • Assist families with implementing treatment recommendations

  • Reinforce consistency between clinic and home environments

  • Support family education regarding treatment goals and progress

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation

  • Complete session notes and clinical paperwork

  • Ensure treatment documentation complies with BACB and insurance requirements

  • Assist with scheduling parent trainings

  • Participate in clinical meetings and supervision

  • Complete assigned administrative projects

๐Ÿ•’ Position Schedule

  • Full-Time

  • Monday through Friday

  • Typical Hours: 8:00 AM โ€“ 6:00 PM

  • Primary Work Location: Clinic


๐Ÿข Work Environment

This position operates within a pediatric ABA clinic. Employees frequently work in active therapy environments with varying noise levels while providing direct services to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental disabilities.


๐Ÿ’ช Physical Requirements

Employees must be able to:

  • Stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and sit for extended periods

  • Physically engage with children during therapy sessions

  • Lift up to 50 pounds regularly

  • Occasionally assist with moving equipment up to 100 pounds

  • Demonstrate adequate visual and hearing acuity necessary to safely perform job duties


๐Ÿš— Travel Requirements

Local travel may be required for supervision, training, community-based services, or client support using a personal vehicle.
